We Will File The Claim For You Now
IMPORTANT-WHAT TO EXPECT:
1) Expect a call from adjuster within 1-3 business days (they usually contact you very quickly). The adjuster will be you main and only point of contact from this point going forward as I will not have any information about the claim until it is finalized.
2) In the event of severe damage that requires immediate attention, you may need to make temporary repairs to prevent further harm to your property. Save all receipts for these temporary repairs and take photos if you can as they may be reimbursable. DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT MAY PUT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN HARMS WAY.
3) If you have to move or throw anything away, document everything with photos and/or video so the adjuster can see the damaged are/property as it originally was noticed.
4) One the adjuster visits your property, he/she will file compile and file their report for the insurance company for review. Again, your adjuster will be your point of contact if you have questions or need to check the status of the claims process. The only way I can help you during this time is to communicate back to the insurance company if the adjuster is not communicating with you in a reasonable manner.
